I got this as a special birthday gift and was really happy with how thoughtful and well put together it is. The lavender scent is lovely without being overpowering, and the items inside feel like a real treat. The fuzzy socks are cozy, the bath products are relaxing, and the little mirror is such a nice touch. Everything was neatly packed and felt like it was meant to make someone feel pampered and appreciated. It’s a sweet and memorable gift for a milestone birthday or just to show someone you care.
This is an ok product, but a little high in price for what you get in the box. Several items inside are small and single use. It does smell nice being lavender items are included. It’s good as a last minute type gift idea, or for someone who has “everything”, or for sending to someone who lives far away. But as someone who just turned 40 and born in 1985, I was not overly impressed, especially for the price.
If you're looking for an all natural self-care birthday box this is not it, but if you're looking for a self-care birthday box that is scented like lavender and has some nice items in it then this might be the one for you. It comes beautifully presented with some nice self-care items, although there are some spelling errors on a few items such as the back of the compact mirror and one of the included pamphlets, but if you don't mind that it is still beautifully presented.
I was surprised that the box shipped as it was wrapped in plastic, not in another box, but that's good for people who would like less waste. And everything inside is so beautifully presented - from the outside with the bow-tied ribbon, to inside with the tissue paper and cut-up pieces of colored paper that makes this look beautiful and fancy.
A lot of people born in 1985 will get a kick out of the included pamphlet that shows a photo of a typical home with an old fashioned rotary phone, old fashioned TV, etc., and on the back of the pamphlet some things that happened that year such as the movie Back To the Future, The Golden Girls TV show premiering, Nintendo released, and a Live Aid concert for famine relief. There's also a pamphlet with a QR code for a free downloadable stress relief booklet. I didn't download it but that may be a nice feature and added bonus, and it semes thoughtful to me.
The box includes a lot of quality items: Yardley lavender soap, a soap saver bag, a sparkly compact mirror, soft fuzzy pink socks, Epsom salt, and dried flower card. There's also the bath bomb and shower steamer.
I'd been hoping that this would be all natural because of the Yardley soap but it's not, but it still has many nice items in it. The Yardley soap does have essential oils in it. The shower bomb does not tell you the ingredients and the bath bomb has fragrance oils not essential oil and the Epson bath salts didn't smell like natural lavender but many people will still enjoy it.
If you don't mind artificial scents then this lavender seemed box can be a good fit for you or someone you care about. If you prefer natural ingredients then this isn't the one for you.
Even unopened the box has a strong lavender smell. Not unpleasant, but you should certainly make sure she likes the smell of lavender!
As for the contents in general, it's a grab bag but they're all fairly nice. The makeup mirror and socks in particular seemed like nice reusable touches.
One things to note, this is fairly specific for a 40th birthday in this year. There the bath salts have 1985 written on them and there's a literal printout of stuff from 1985 (which was actually a bit weird since you don't really remember things from when you were a baby). So don't get it for someone who turns 40 in 2026 and expect it to make sense.
But for someone turning 40 this year I think it's a nice gift and good value.

Everything smells absolutely enchanting, the lavender used here is very natural and attractive., also quite strong.
All the products are lovely, but in particular I love the dried flowers card, the Yardley soap and the purse mirror. The mirror is decorated with crystals and inside it has two sides, one with regular mirror and one with magnification.
This is a beautiful gift set that sells currently for about $40, and I feel that the price is justified by the beautiful presentation and contents.

The whole presentation was very nice. Very cute packaging. Comes with fuzzy socks, bath salts, bath bomb, shower bomb, soap bar, sparkly mirror, and miniature bouquet of flowers. The miniature flower bouquet is my favorite part. And the newspaper cutout is so cute.

I think anyone who love 💗 the smell of lavender will totally love something like this for there 40th birthday, as I know things like this I find so super meaningful getting, as really sometimes it’s the smallest thing that matter the most . With that said I don’t mind at all giving this a five stars as I really like how everything looks purple in colour.
